Though I will truly miss all of the amazing friends I’ve made in California, the time has come for me to begin a new chapter in my life. In less than two weeks, I’ll be making the move back to Texas. Since my stepfather was diagnosed with terminal cancer, it has become apparent that he and my mom will need the support of family to assist with the family business and ease any stress. On a brighter note, I’m excited about a fresh start. My new home and my new art studio is SO much larger than my current space, so I will be able to continue creating new work once I’m settled in my new place! There’s still a LOT of work to be done: packing, art to sell, an expensive cross-country move, and a new home and studio to get move-in ready. I’m excited to share, so stay tuned as I share this journey with you all!
Even with a little under two weeks to go, I’ve managed to find the time to sit down and write (or maybe I’m just procrastinating because moving is REALLY hard). To be perfectly honest, It seems I’ve hit a little streak of bad luck between my car needing a new transmission and some freak injury in my foot that’s requiring me to be on crutches. My doctor told me to stay off of it and not to lift more than 10 pounds. Umm… I’m already using these crutches as chopsticks so…. HOW am I suppose to pack? While it may not be the ideal situation, I KNOW it’ll all work out!
Since I’m moving cross-country, an updated art inventory was essential. I didn’t really know how many pieces I had stashed away until I started and, to be perfectly honest, I probably missed a few. However, I thought I’d share the list I have for sale with all of you. If you see something that catches your eye, give me shout; every little bit helps! I’ll be regularly updating this page until every piece finds its new home.
A Few More
Thank you for taking the time to view these pieces. Again, if you find any that you would like to own, want to see how they look framed or if you have any other questions, feel free to Contact Me!
In case you didn't know, I'm kind of a big deal. I'm a self-proclaimed princess, but I also like to consider myself pretty well rounded. I like coffee in a comfy bed, I always seem to be learning/doing/making something new and I love going to new places, meeting new people and doing new things. I enjoy new experiences and new adventures with a million stories to prove it! And art. I always art.
